The Board examined the Foundation's 2008-2009 policy and financial report to the benefit of 170,000 families of former soldiers and ex-combatants, and examined and approved the proposed action program for the year 2010 and the budget required for its implementation.
    The Foundation was created on May 12, 2003. In September 2005 it was restructured with the aim to revitalize the actions of its twenty-one regional offices established across the Kingdom and its four medical units located within military hospitals.
