Moroccan FM to visit Algeria January 23-24
Moroccan Foreign Minister Saâd-Eddine El Othmani is expected to lead an important delegation from his department to pay a visit to Algeria January 23-24.
"This visit is part of bolstering the process of consultations by the two countries to strengthen their ties to meet the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples," a statement by the Foreign Ministry said on Friday.
El Othmani will meet with Algerian counterpart, Mourad Mdelci "on the means and ways to promote brotherly and cooperation bonds between the two neighboring countries," the source added.
The two parties will also discuss "the deepening of dialogue on issues linked to the development of the Arab Maghreb Union’s action and mechanisms to be in tune with the expectations of the region’s peoples and leaders."
During his stay in Algeria, El Othmani will be received by President Abdelaziz Bouteflika, the statement concluded.
