The release is a victory both for Ould Sidi Mouloud and the national cause, the Minister added, saying that this outcome came as a result of the solidarity campaigns and the mobilization of the government, political parties and the civil society, Naciri told the Tangier based Medi 1 Sat TV channel.
The release will only be effective when this militant enjoys freedom of speech and movement, meets his relatives and expresses his opinion without being subject to acts of oppression or reprisal, Naciri added.
Ould Sidi Mouloud and national bodies and institutions tasked with defending Morocco’s territorial integrity have the right to draw attention to the human rights violations committed in Tindouf camps, underlined the minister, noting that the international community has to be informed about the hostile positions of the other parties regarding rights issues.
Naciri said that the national mobilization and vigilance to denounce the
human rights violations in the camps will continue with a view to informing the public opinion about the real conditions prevailing in the camps in the Algerian territory.
This mobilization falls within the framework of sustainable efforts to face the polisario’s and Algeria’s schemes aiming to hinder the peace process under the UN aegis, added the Moroccan official.
