Spain's Interior minister  Consolidating cooperation between Rabat and Madrid is a "priority", Spanish Interior minister Alfredo Perez Rubalcaba said, on Monday in Rabat, underlining his country's commitment to "fluid and stable" relations with Morocco.

In a press conference at the end of his working visit to Morocco, Rubalcaba said that Spain gives a special importance to its relations with Morocco, which is a "neighbouring, partner and ally" country, adding that he is "satisfied" with the visit's results.

The Spanish official also highlighted the strong and deep Moroccan-Spanish relations, extending his thanks to HM King Mohammed VI for the audience that the Sovereign granted him.
