During this meeting, Leuthard hailed the quality of relations between the two countries, expressing hope to further strengthen and promote trade between Morocco and Switzerland, a statement of the House of Representatives said on Tuesday.
She also highlighted the economic and tourism potential offered by the North African country, noting that Morocco is a modern country which preserves its heritage and national identity.
For his part, Radi reviewed the major reforms undertaken by Morocco in various fields under the leadership of HM King Mohammed VI.
He praised the excellent relations between the two friendly countries, highlighting the strategic links between Morocco and Europe.
The Moroccan official also held separate talks with President of Swiss National Council, Pascale Bruderer, and with officials of the Swiss Foreign Ministry.
During these meetings, Radi gave an overview on the developments in the Sahara issue and presented the contents of the Moroccan autonomy initiative in the southern provinces.
Radi is visiting Switzerland on June 14-16 at the invitation of the President of Swiss National Council.
