Kaplan also commended, during a meeting with Moroccan secretary of state Mohand Laenser, the counter-terrorism efforts exerted by Morocco, a statement of the ministry said.

    He underlined his country's readiness to support programmes launched by the Kingdom, especially in the areas of youth employment and training.

    The statement said the meeting raised long-standing bilateral relations. In this regard, Laenser highlighted the excellence of time-honoured relations between the two countries as well as the remarkable growth in bilateral trade as well as in US investments in Morocco.
