"We recognize the Moroccan government's efforts to respond the demands of its citizens and we urge the government to implement these crucial reforms,” the White House underlined in a fact sheet explaining the new approach of the United States vis-à-vis the MENA region, set out in President Obama's speech.
"We are working with the people and the government of Morocco to support their efforts to consolidate the rule of law, protect human rights, improve governance, empower youth, and works towards meaningful constitutional reform," the same source added.
