In an address read on his behalf at the opening of the 26th International Congress of Notaries, the minister underlined that the notary public is among the mechanisms that secure a healthy climate for investments in the fields of housing, services and trade transaction, adding that the Justice Ministry, as part of it reform process, has associated the notaries in a judicial framework organizing the profession.
Naciri underscored that the kingdom has spared no effort to ensure a legal climate that secures rights and freedoms, adding that the kingdom has accomplished great achievements in terms of democracy and that efforts are being made to build a modern society.
President of the International Union of Notaries (UINL), Eduardo Gallino, said that he is "very satisfied with the progress made by Morocco, under the leadership of HM King Mohamed VI, both at the economic level and social and political level and in the field of human rights as well."
Gallino noted that holding this event in Morocco is a "great" opportunity for Moroccan and African jurists, to know the UINL and to establish brotherly ties with its members.
Mehdi Mouttaqui Allah said, on behalf of Moroccan notaries, that choosing Morocco to hold this event is the result of efforts made by Moroccan notaries and the UINL, knowing that Morocco contributed a great deal to the adhesion of many countries to the union.
Held on October 3-6, the event, which was initiated by the UINL under the leadership of HM King Mohamed VI, in partnership with the National Council for Modern Notaries of Morocco, is bringing together more than 2000 notaries, representing about 80 countries.
