Upper House Speaker highlights Morocco's efforts to preserve Arab identity of Al-Quds
Upper House Speaker Mohammed Cheikh Biadillah highlighted here on Tuesday efforts undertaken by HM King Mohammed VI to preserve the Arab identity of the holy city of Al-Quds.

HM the King is endeavoring to defend the interests of the Palestinian people, preserve the Arab identity of the holy city and protect its characteristics as a symbol of coexistence and tolerance between religions, Biadillah said at the opening of the 16th Arab Inter-parliamentary Union.

In this regard, the Moroccan official underlined the humanitarian initiatives led by the Rabat-based Bayt Mal Al-Qods Al-Charif Agency with the aim to promote the social conditions of the population of Al-Quds and support their resistance to Israeli attempts to alter the judicial and historical status of the holy city.
