HM King Mohammed VI inaugurated, on Tuesday in Sale, a socio-educational centre to develop the youths' skills and laid the foundation stone for the construction of a socio-cultural complex for the youngsters, worth 10 million dirhams ($1.15 million).
The socio-educational centre was built over 1,150 square meters in an area known for its high rate of youngsters in difficulties. It seeks to provide training and develop the skills of the young people, shore up and oversee youths holding income-generating projects and promote voluntary work among them.
This facility includes rooms for training on different jobs mainly event coordinator, security guard, teacher, ground hostess, caterer and gardener. It comprises also worshops on notably houshold appliances' maintenance, applied computer science and graphics and foreing languages, a reception and exhibition hall, a multi-purpose room, a cafeteria and two shops.
The socio-cultural complex will facilitate the social and vocational integration of this social component. It will stretch over 1,724 square meters and will include similar workshops and training rooms.
HM the King to preside over new religious lecture Wednesday in Rabat
Rabat - HM King Mohammed VI, Commander of the Faithful, will preside, on Wednesday at the royal palace in Rabat, over a new Ramadan religious lecture.
The lecture will be delivered by Souad Rahaim, professor at El Jadida faculty of Letters and Human Sciences and member of the local council of the ulemas of the city, on: "signs of the Hour in the Koran and the Hadith," drawing on the Koranic verse: "They ask thee about the (final) Hour - when will be its appointed time? Say: "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord (alone)."
