"We are encouraged by the proposals put forward by the king to transform Morocco's democratic development through constitutional, judicial and political reforms," the U.S official said at her daily press briefing.
U.S Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, had underlined that the reforms announced, on March 9, by HM King Mohammed VI are "model for others in the region" and "hold great promise first and foremost for the Moroccan people themselves."
"What His Majesty King Mohammed VI is doing is economic reform, social reform, political reform, and some countries are only going one direction. And there needs to be a comprehensive approach," Clinton had said at a joint press conference at the State Department with her Moroccan peer Taieb Fassi-Fihri.
