The largest protest took place in Morocco’s biggest city, Casablanca, where around 7,000 held a three-hour demonstration, while in Rabat 2,000 people rallied for four hours in front of the Parliament’s headquarters, authorities said.
In Tangier, a peaceful demonstration brought together some 5,000, while in Marrakech, Agadir and Fez the number of protesters is estimated at 800, 1,500 and 1,500 respectively.
