"Morocco deplores the negative reaction of the Algerian authorities and regrets this attitude of exclusion in view of a common and identified threat that requires necessarily a concerted and collective response for the benefit of consolidating peace and regional security, and promoting progress and development throughout the sub-region," the statement said.
    The same source added that Morocco, convinced of the need for an approach based on joint efforts and coordination of actions to address regional security challenges that are closely linked to peace and stability of each state in the region, had expressed officially its readiness to take part in the meeting and actively contribute to its success and notified, in this sense, the host country, Algeria.
