Marrakesh will host on Jan. 6 to 10 the 33rd edition of the International Congress for school efficiency and improvement, a flagship event organized for the first time in an Arab and African country.

Held under the Patronage of HM King Mohammed VI, this international event will bring together more than 1,000 participants from 65 countries, representing national and international bodies, and governmental and non-governmental organizations involved in the sector of the education, training and scientific research.

Initiated by the Ministry of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Moroccan Center for Civic Education, in coordination with "the International Congress for School Efficiency and Improvement", this event is part of the implementation of the Royal Directives which made education the second national priority.

It also falls within the framework of the implementation of the provisions of framework law 51.17 which specifies the characteristics of the Moroccan school as a school of equity and quality, said the organizers in a statement.
