Chairman of Omani Majlis Al Shura Lauds Morocco's Development at All Levels
Chairman of the Omani Majlis Al Shura (consultative assembly) Sheikh Khalid Bin Hilal Al Maawali, lauded, Thursday in Rabat, Morocco’s development at all levels.
During his talks with head of government, Saâd Dine El Otmani, Al Maawali noted "Morocco is on the right track and constantly evolving despite its lack of abundant natural resources," says a statement by the head of government's department.
The Omani official, who participated with a delegation from his country's parliament in the 14th session of the Conference of the Parliamentary Union of member States of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), expressed the wish to see economic and trade relations between the two countries further developed in the future.
For his part, El Otmani said that Morocco and the Sultanate of Oman share the same political orientations on the major issues of the Arab and Islamic Ummah, stressing the importance of redoubling efforts to strengthen bilateral economic ties, according to the same source.
He underlined that Arab countries are called upon to develop their relations and strengthen their cooperation within the framework of major economic groupings.
