CORCAS Chairman, Speaker of Ugandan Parliament Discuss Latest Developments in Moroccan Sahara Issue
Chairman of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs (CORCAS) Khalihenna Ould Errachid held, Wednesday in Rabat, talks with speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Uganda, Rebecca Kadaga Alitwala, on the latest developments in the Moroccan Sahara issue.
During this meeting, CORCAS chairman made a presentation in which he recalled the relevance of the solution put by Morocco on the negotiating table since 2007, stressing that the United Nations and the international community, including the African family, have recognized its credibility and realism.
He added that this solution is also an interesting political example to avoid the risks of conflict and civil war in Africa, CORCAS says on its website.
