El Othmani Underlines Government’s Determination to Strengthen Morocco's relations with Traditional Partners & Other Partners
The government is determined to strengthen Morocco's relations with its traditional partners as well as with other partners, Head of Government, Saad Eddine El Othmani, said Thursday in Rabat.
El Othmani said that Morocco's relations with several African countries make it easier to support Africa’s development, said a statement read out by minister delegate for relations with the parliament and civil society, government spokesperson Mustapha El Khalfi at a press briefing after the weekly meeting.
He also underscored the importance of the visit paid by Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev to Morocco, which was marked by the signing of 11 agreements in various fields, noting that these agreements will have a significant impact on cooperation between the two countries.
El Othmani also stressed that this dynamic of cooperation has been strengthened thanks to the visit of HM King Mohammed VI to Moscow in March 2016, during which 16 cooperation agreements were signed within the framework of Morocco’s vision on establishing balanced international relations in the political, economic and development areas.
The last week was marked by many important events, as a number of ministers launched important investment and economic projects, El Othmani noted.
