Govt. Chief Holds Talks with Serbian PM in Rabat

Head of government, Saâd Eddine El Othmani, held, Sunday in Rabat, talks with Serbian Prime minister, Ana Brnabić, on means to promote cooperation relations between the two countries in several areas.

During the meeting, the two parties hailed the level of friendly ties binding Morocco and Serbia, said a statement by the head of government's office.

Brnabić, who is on a visit to Morocco to take part in the 10th "World Policy Conference (WPC) in Marrakech, expressed her country’s esteem for the kingdom of Morocco, given the steps it had undertaken in terms of economic and political reforms, under the leadership of HM King Mohammed VI.

She also commended Morocco’s adherence to international laws and norms, as well as its permanent commitment to various initiatives aimed at promoting peace and security and creating the right climate for stability and development worldwide.

For his part, El Othmani praised the quality of friendly relations linking Morocco and Serbia and their coordination at bilateral and regional levels as well as during the different international forums, highlighting the two countries’ commitment to a set of common values, notably respect for the sovereignty and unity of the country.

On this occasion, the head of government stressed the need to raise trade to the same level of political relations between the two countries, calling for the strengthening of fruitful partnerships between Moroccan and Serbian economic operators.
