Head of Government Welcomes Level of Cooperation between Morocco and OECD
Head of Government, Saad Dine El Otmani, welcomed on Wednesday the level of cooperation between Morocco and the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
In his talks with OECD Director for Public Governance, Marcos Bonturi, who is on a working visit to Morocco, El Otmani underlined that both sides are working in partnership and are sharing expertise to accompany the large-scale reforms undertaken by the Kingdom in several areas of economic and social development, said a statement from the department of the Head of Government.
For his part, Bonturi expressed the Organization's satisfaction with the level of cooperation with Morocco and its willingness to extend the partnership to all of the Kingdom's priority programs and projects, particularly in the framework of the Country Programme.
He also praised good governance practices and the importance of the citizen in the public policies initiated by Morocco in several fields and which represent a platform shared by the OECD with several African countries, the source added.
The two sides also discussed the prospects for bilateral cooperation in numerous areas, in particular e-government, administration reform, the moralization of public life and the structuring of economic activities.
