32nd Ordinary Session of African Union Summit Opens in Addis Ababa
The 32nd ordinary session of the African Union (AU) Summit opened Sunday in Addis Ababa with the participation of Morocco.
Head of government, Saad Dine El Otmani, leads the Moroccan delegation to the Summit, which is composed of minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Nasser Bourita, and minister delegate for African Cooperation, Mohcine Jazouli.
In addition to African heads of State and government, this session is attended by the secretaries-general of the United Nations and the Arab League.
The Summit will be marked by the launch of the African Union's 2019 theme: "Year of Refugees, Returnees and Internally Displaced Persons: Towards Durable Solutions to Forced Displacement in Africa".
