INDH, Successful Experience And Reference In Africa

The National Initiative for Human Development (INDH) in Morocco is a successful experience and a reference at the continental level, on which Gabon can rely to assist its underprivileged populations, said, on Tuesday in Libreville, Gabonese minister delegate for social contingency Marie-Françoise Dikoumba.

We are glad to have, as part of south-south cooperation, a country as Morocco which is ahead of us in terms of social issues and on which we can rely to support and assist, in a sustainable way, our underprivileged populations, she said after a meeting with INDH national coordinator, governor Nadira El Guermai.

The meeting follows the signature, on Monday in Libreville, of a Morocco-Gabonese cooperation framework agreement on development and human investment.

Under the agreement, the two countries shall promote the exchange of experiences in terms of human development and investment initiatives, notably between the national initiative for human development (INDH) and Gabon’s human investment strategy (SIHG).

Dikoumba, who is also coordinator of SIHG national committee, commended Morocco's setting up of this public policy which is bearing its fruits, noting that SIHG is also a program meant to promote development and human investment.
