Innovation: France Pleads for Win-Win Partnership with Morocco

French secretary of State for Digital Affairs, Cédric O, called for a Win-Win partnership between France and Morocco in the field of innovation and new technologies.

"Today, in Tech, France can rely heavily on Moroccan talents, but this must be done in a Win-Win way," the French official told MAP.

The minister who visited the Moroccan pavilion on Friday at VivaTech fair in Paris, where he held talks with minister of Industry, Investment, Trade and Digital Economy, Moulay Hafid El Alamy, said that this Win-Win partnership will allow France to continue to rely on Moroccan talents.

Inaugurated on Thursday by French president Emmanuel Macron, VivaTech is the world's rendezvous for startups and leaders to celebrate innovation. This international event, dedicated to the growth of startups, digital transformation and innovation, will take place on 16-18 May at Porte de Versailles in Paris.

More than 100,000 visitors attended last year’s edition.

Morocco’s participation in VivaTech aims to present and promote the Moroccan technical ecosystem in terms of technological innovation.
