Twenty-seven Moroccan pilgrims were killed, five others were injured and 11 are still missing following the tragedy of Mina stampede, according to a new toll by the Foreign Affairs ministry.

Among the dead, 8 pilgrims were reported missing. They are Malika Messadi, Abdelmajid Zerzour, Fatna Sridi, El Haj Janah, Karima El Jirari, Omar El Hanoun, Mohamed Achfaki and Najia Baâlaoui, the ministry said in a statement.

The delegation dispatched by HM King Mohammed VI provided this new toll as part of its mission in Saudi Arabia, it said.
