Mohammed V University of Rabat, AIMS Honor Five Women for their Scientific Contributions
The Mohammed V University of Rabat (UMV) and the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) honored five women for their scientific contributions and exemplary commitment during the African Science Week recently held in Rabat.
These women were honored at a ceremony attended notably by Mohammed Rhachi, president of the Mohammed V University as well as several university officials, professors, researchers, in addition to national and African personalities, according to a statement by the UMV.
They are professors Hafida Mdarsi, Souad Benhalima, Hind Ayoubi Idrissi from the Mohammed V University of Rabat, Hajar Iguer from the International University of Casablanca and Sara Maalal from Junior Chamber International (JCI) Morocco.
The African Science Week, initiated on 20-22 November in Rabat, by AIMS and the Mohammed V University in partnership with the Robert Bosch Foundation, provides a platform for debate, reflection and projects addressing various themes related to science, social and political issues, information and communication technologies and innovation, in Africa and around the world, led by renowned experts in different fields.
