Moroccan-Brazilian Parliamentary Friendship Group Created
The Moroccan-Brazilian parliamentary friendship group was created Wednesday at the Brazilian Senate.
The group is chaired by Senator Cristovam Buarque from the Socialist Popular Party (PPS), while Senator Eunicio Viera, representative of the Brazilian Democratic Movement Party (PMDB) has been designated as honorary president.
Moroccan-Brazilian parliamentary friendship group is meant to strengthen inter-parliamentary cooperation through the exchange of visits between the two countries' MPs and of official publications between both legislative bodies, in addition to the holding of conferences, seminars and debates on areas of common interest.
