Moroccan CESE And Spanish Counterpart Examine Means To Foster Cooperation

President of the Economic, Social and Environmental Council (CESE) Nizar Baraka held, on Monday in Madrid, a meeting with his Spanish counterpart Marcos Pena on ways and means to enhance cooperation between the two institutions.

This meeting aims to further strengthen relations between the two Councils on the basis of the bilateral cooperation agreement signed in October 2011 , said Nizar Baraka in a statement to Map at the end of this meeting.

Both parties expressed, on this occasion, their desire to create a joint committee that will be tasked with overseeing this cooperation and developing a roadmap to promote understanding between the two countries and the two institutions, as well as sharing experiences, reports and draft laws by both parties, the CESE president said.

The meeting was also the opportunity to present to the Spanish side the Moroccan development model for Provinces of the South, which had been prepared by the Economic and Social Council, he said, adding that the two parties also discussed ways to strengthen relations between civil societies in Morocco and Spain.
