Morocco, DRC Set to Considerate Bilateral Relations

  Morocco and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) expressed, here Wednesday, their determination to consolidate cooperation relations in various fields.

   In a statement to MAP following their meeting, Minister Delegate to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Mbarka Bouaida, and DRC minister in charge of relations with parliament, Tryphon Kin-Kiey Mulumba, underlined the excellent long-standing relations between the two countries, voicing the hope that this cooperation will further develop in different areas.

 

   "Relations between the Democratic Republic of Congo and Morocco are excellent," said the DRC minister, who expressed his country's willingness to develop this "historic" cooperation.

 

   He also reaffirmed his country's support to Morocco's position on the national cause and territorial integrity of the Kingdom, welcoming the "vision and genius" of HM King Mohammed VI, which has allowed Morocco to be immune against current international threats.

 

   For her part, Bouaida highlighted the excellent cooperation relations with the Democratic Republic of Congo, based on "brotherhood and friendship."

 

   "Cooperation between the two countries is close and important in all fields, including economy", the Minister said, adding that the two countries are working to identify additional areas on which they can work in the future.
