Morocco, Guinea Determined to Broaden Cooperation

Morocco and the Republic of Guinea are determined to broaden their cooperation and build more bridges between the two countries in the different areas, said a statement from the department of the head of government.

The meeting, on Tuesday in Rabat, between head of government Saad Dine El Otamni and speaker of the National Assembly of Guinea Claude Kory Kondiano, who is on a working visit to Morocco, was an the occasion to underline the quality of the long-standing relations of friendship and the excellent level of political coordination, said the same source.

The two parties emphasized the dynamics marking bilateral cooperation through the various programs of economic and social development under way, the statement said.

During this meeting, attended by Ambassador of Guinea to Morocco, El Otmani commended Guinea-Conakry's continued support for all of the Kingdom's causes, particularly its territorial integrity and its return to the African Union.

For his part, Kondiano expressed his country's gratitude to Morocco for its support, under the leadership of HM King Mohammed VI, for economic and social development, recalling a series of development projects related to vital sectors such as education, religious guidance, sea fisheries, agriculture, the creation of industrial zones, administrative capacity-building, as well as the sharing of expertise within the framework of South-South cooperation.
