Morocco, Island of Peace, Says Hungarian Pres.
President of the Republic of Hungary János Áder voiced his admiration for the Kingdom of Morocco, describing it as an island of peace.
This came in an audience granted by János Áder in Budapest to speaker of the house of representatives Habib El Malki.
During the meeting, attended by Morocco's ambassador to Hungary, the Hungarian leader expressed his concern over the African migration which puts pressure on Europe and Morocco.
"Beyond its humanitarian aspect, this issue is worrying from the security viewpoint. Human traffickers should not be the ones deciding our actions," he said.
Quoted in a statement by the house, Thursday, El Malki highlighted Morocco's experience and innovative management of the migration issue, and its regulation of the religious field which makes Islam a factor of stability. He also discussed sustainable development and water management.
Climate is a global challenge, he said, stressing the Moroccan singular experience in the field of solar energy and assuring that all issues of shared interest will be debated within the framework of the joint committee which will convene next November.
