Doha: Head of Govt. Highlights Moroccan-Qatari Solid Ties, Qatari Paper

Head of government Abdelillah Benkirane lauded, on Monday in Doha, the solid aspect of the Moroccan-Qatari ties, as well as the brotherly ties uniting the two heads of states, HM King Mohammed VI and HH Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, wrote Qatari daily "Achark".

"No one can deny the exemplary and solid relations between Morocco and Qatar, as well as the brotherly ties uniting the two heads of states, notably under the reign of HM King Mohammed VI and HH Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani," Benkirane told the press on the sidelines of his participation in the opening of the 4th Qatar's Information and Communication Technology Exhibition and Conference (QITCOM-2017).

The most important thing in relations between states is the political aspect, he said, reiterating the readiness by the two countries to further cooperate in the different areas, mainly the economic sector.

On his participation in the QITCOM-2017, Benkirane said he was honored to take part in this major event which offers the opportunity to benefit from other experiences and expertize.

Doha: HH Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani Receives Head of Govt.

Emir of the State of Qatar, HH Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani received, on Monday in Doha, head of government Abdelilah Benkirane, on the sidelines of the opening of the 4th Qatar's information and communication technology exhibition and conference (QITCOM-2017).

On this occasion, HH Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani lauded the deep and solid brotherly ties uniting him with his brother HM King Mohammed VI, as well as the excellent relations between the two countries, reiterating Qatar's determination to strive doubly hard in order to support Morocco's big investments and foster bilateral economic relations generally.

He also hailed Morocco's pioneering role on the African scene under the leadership of HM King Mohammed VI.

Benkirane voiced his admiration for efforts made by HH the Emir of the State of Qatar and its government to lead the country towards further progress and prosperity and strengthen its economy.

He also expressed Morocco's resolve to bring about appropriate conditions to host and ensure the success of Qatari investment in Morocco, and broaden their scope.

The audience was attended by Qatar's PM and Interior minister Sheikh Abdullah Bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani, Morocco's ambassador in Doha Nabil Zniber, and Qatar's ambassador in Rabat Abdullah Bin Falah Bin Abdallah Al Doussari.

Morocco Takes Part in Opening Ceremony of QITCOM-2017

Morocco's Head of Government Abdelilah Benkirane took part, on Monday in Doha, in the opening ceremony of the 4th Qatar's Information and Communication Technology Exhibition and Conference (QITCOM-2017), held under the theme sign "Qatar Towards a Smart Future".

At the end of the ceremony, Benkirane visited the Exhibition to learn about the latest technology innovations showcased during the three-day event (6-8 March).

QITCOM Exhibition and Conference is Qatar's biggest digital event, connecting smart technology with international expertise, industry specialists, key government decision makers, innovators, and entrepreneurs.

Participants will discuss ways to promote smart technologies and innovation to address the challenges facing priority sectors such as communication, environment, health, sport and logistics.

Morocco to Take Part in QITCOM 2017 Exhibition

Moroccan Head of government, Adbelilah Benkirane, arrived on Monday in Doha to take part in the fourth edition of the Qatar ICT Conference and Exhibition – QITCOM 2017, at the invitation of Qatar's Prime Minister and Interior Minister, Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani.

The networking conference will be held at Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC) on March 6-8, under the theme: "Qatar – towards a smart future."

This year, the event is projected to host more than 90 local and international exhibitors.

High-level government officials, businessmen, academics and investors will discuss ways to promote smart technologies and innovation to address the challenges facing priority sectors such as communication, environment, health, sport and logistics.
