Morocco Takes Part in 14th Panama Book Fair

Morocco is taking part in the 14th edition of the Panama Book Fair which opened Tuesday in the Panamanian capital and will run until Aug. 19.

The Kingdom participates in this cultural event with a stand set up by the Moroccan Embassy in Panama, exhibiting more than 200 books in Spanish concerning the history of the Kingdom and the different aspects of the Moroccan civilization culturally, socially and economically as well as the country's tourist assets and its relations with Latin American countries.

This event, in which Morocco takes part for the third year in a row, is marked by the participation of president of the High Authority of Audiovisual Communication (HACA) Amina Lemrini El Ouahabi, who will speak in debates on "Women's Leadership for Equality in the 21st Century" and "Women and Politics: Participation, Power and Representativeness".

This 14th edition of the Panama Book Fair, which will attract more than 100,000 visitors, is also marked by the participation of nearly 30,000 poets and men of letters of different nationalities, as well as publishing houses from Panama, Colombia, Mexico, Germany, Brazil, Spain, Puerto Rico, Peru and Chile.
