Morocco's Central Bank Maintains Key Rate at 2.25%

The Board of Bank Al-Maghrib (Morocco's central bank) decided, on Tuesday, to keep its key rate unchanged at 2.25 percent.

The Board, which has analyzed recent economic developments and the macroeconomic forecasts prepared by the Bank for the next two years, "considered that the current level of the key rate remains appropriate and decided to keep it unchanged at 2.25 percent," said the Central Bank in a statement issued after the fourth quarterly meeting of its Board for 2017.
