National School of Public Health Inaugurates First E-learning Health Platform in Morocco

The National School of Public Health (ENSP) inaugurated, Thursday in Rabat, the virtual Academy of health, the first e-learning platform in Morocco in the field, which is part of the measures aimed at the dematerialization of the training offer.

Developed in collaboration with the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) and with the support of several international organizations, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO), this academy falls within the framework of the strategic orientations of the ministry of Health aimed at providing training adapted to the needs of health professionals and the expectations of the different regions of the Kingdom, through the use of the latest international standards in distance learning and by relying on state-of-the-art technology and software.

The result of more than three years of work, which started with the training of all the teachers of the establishment and the organization of several thematic workshops, in collaboration with national and international institutions that are pioneers in the field, this academy is part of the ENSP's development plan.

For the last three years, nearly 5,000 participants from the twelve regions of the Kingdom, in addition to a hundred learners from African countries, have received training in health matters.
