New Government to Continue Reforms Initiated by Previous Cabinets: El Othmani
The new government will continue the reform process initiated by previous governments, while "putting the Moroccan citizen's interest above any other consideration," Head of Government Saad-Eddine El Othmani said Wednesday in Rabat.
The various components of this government agree to "go ahead with the implementation of the reforms initiated by the previous governments, while putting the Moroccan citizen's interest above any other consideration, with the aim of achieving the objectives that we promised," El Othmani told reporters following the new government’s appointment ceremony.
Speeding up the formation of the government, which represents the majority and reflects popular will, was dictated by the many developments in the Kingdom, in addition to the need to support small and medium-sized enterprises ( SMEs) and to accelerate the adoption of the budget, he pointed out.
HM King Mohammed VI, accompanied by HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, appointed, on Wednesday in Rabat, the new government.
