President of Republic of Sierra Leone Julius Maada Bio Arrives in Morocco
President of the Republic of Sierra Leone Julius Maada Bio arrived, on Thursday in Tangier, to participate in the 12th edition of the MEDays Forum.
Upon his arrival at Tangier Ibn Battouta airport, the Sierra Leonean head of state was greeted by Minister Delegate for Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Abroad, Mohcine Jazouli.
After reviewing a detachment of the Royal Navy that paid the honors, Maada Bio was greeted by Wali of the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region, governor of the Tangier-Assilah prefecture, the President of the Council of the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region, the president of the Tangier-Assilah Prefecture Council, the vice-president of Tangier urban commune and the president of the Amadeus Institute and founder of the MEDays Forum.
Speaking on this occasion, Baada Bio welcomed the excellent relations between the two countries, expressing the desire to further them in areas of common interest.
Sierra Leone's participation in the MEDays International Forum is part of cooperation with the Kingdom of Morocco, with a view to strengthen relations, particularly in the economic sector, he told the press.
