President of Turkish-Morocco Friendship Group Calls for Promoting Bilateral Ties

President of the Turkish-Morocco friendship group at Turkey's national assembly Ayse Sula Koseoglu stressed, on Wednesday in Rabat, the importance of strengthening relations between the two legislative institutions and the two brotherly peoples in order to promote bilateral relations in different areas.

In a meeting with the second deputy speaker of the House of Advisors Abdellilah El Halouti, who is also chairman of the Morocco-Turkish Parliamentary Friendship Group, Sula Koseoglu welcomed Morocco's stability and security, noting that the visit of the Turkish delegation is aimed at developing prospects for cooperation between the two countries.

She also called for the holding of a business forum between the two countries, said the House in a statement.

On the issue of the Moroccan Sahara, Koseoglu expressed strong support for the Kingdom's territorial integrity, praising Morocco's efforts to find a political settlement to the conflict.

For his part, El Halouti welcomed the excellent relations between the two countries, calling for strengthening them in all sectors, all the more so because the Kingdom has become an important platform Europe and Africa.
