Renewable Energy: Morocco, an "Example" to the World thanks to HM the King's Leadership
Morocco has become an example not only to Africa but to the world in clear energy and in climate change mitigation thanks to the leadership of HM King Mohammed VI, Director General of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), Adnan Amin, said Monday in Tangier.
The Kingdom "has become a leader in Africa and a world leader in renewable energy as well as in the fight against terrorism," Amin told reporters following the reception chaired by HM the King in Tangier on the occasion of the 19th anniversary of the Sovereign's accession to the throne of his glorious ancestors.
Morocco has made a remarkable progress in these areas thanks to the leadership of HM the King, he pointed out.
"It is a great honor to meet HM the King. I had the opportunity to congratulate His Majesty on the incredible work that is happening in Morocco on the implementation of the renewable energy projects," Amin added.
