Tunisian President Commends Leadership and Foresight of HM King Mohammed VI

Tunisian president, Béji Caïd Essebsi, commended, Tuesday, the leadership and foresight of HM King Mohammed VI.

The leadership and foresight of HM the king "make it possible to consolidate Morocco's achievements in terms of economic development and political stability," said the Tunisian head of state during an audience granted to Latifa Akharbach at the end of her mission as ambassador of the kingdom to Tunisia, following her appointment as chairwoman of the High Authority of the Higher Council of Audio-visual Communication.

While affirming that he holds HM the King in high esteem, the Tunisian president highlighted the great convergence between his country and Morocco, each with its own specific institutions and history, particularly in terms of adherence to democratic values and the choice of a model of an open and modern society.

On this occasion, Essebsi instructed Akharbach to convey his best wishes and regards to HM King Mohammed VI.
