Upon High Instructions of HM the King, Major General, Inspector General of FAR Receives Chief of Staff of the French Army
Upon high instructions of HM the King, Supreme Commander and Chief of General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR), Major General, Inspector General of FAR, received, Monday in Rabat, General of the Army Jean-Pierre Dosser, Chief of Staff of the French Army, who is leading a large military delegation on a working visit to Morocco (March 12-14).
Talks between Inspector General of FAR and his guest highlighted the excellent bilateral military cooperation ties between the Royal Armed Forces and the French Armed Forces, which mirrors the historical relations between the French Republic and the Kingdom of Morocco, said a statement by the General Staff of FAR.
The two officials also discussed the various aspects of this cooperation, lauding its dynamic development and expressing satisfaction at the consistency and solidity of the relations between the two countries, the statement added.
On this occasion, they reviewed matters of common interest and ways to promote interoperability between the Armed Forces of the two countries through the exchange of experience and expertise, while affirming their willingness to apply the agreements established a part of this cooperation, and to further develop these relations in the same spirit of friendship and shared trust.
The visit by the French military delegation was also an opportunity to examine the modalities of strengthening the technical agreements and arrangements that bind the armies of the two countries.
Cooperation between the Royal Armed Forces and the French Armed Forces is an essential pillar of the strategic partnership between Morocco and France.
