El Jadida Horse Fair: HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan Chairs Awarding Ceremony of HM King Mohammed VI Show Jumping Grand Prix

 HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan chaired, Sunday at the Mohammed VI exhibition park of El Jadida, the awarding ceremony of HM King Mohammed VI Show Jumping Grand Prix, the 3rd and last stage of the 8th Morocco Royal Tour which is a 4-day international competition under the 10th edition of the Horse Fair, held under the patronage of HM the King.

At his arrival at the Mohammed VI exhibition park, HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan was greeted by Moulay Abdellah Alaoui, chairman of the Moroccan Royal Federation for Equestrian Sports (FRMSE) and reviewed a detachment of the royal guard that paid the honours.

His Royal Highness was then greeted mainly by agriculture minister Aziz Akhannouch, youth and sports minister Rachid Talbi Alami, wali of Casablanca-Settat region, governor of Casablanca prefecture Abdelkébir Zahoud, president of the region's council Mustapha Bakkoury and governor of El Jadida province Mohamed Amine El Guerrouj.

Afterwards, HRH the Crown Prince sat in the VIP stand and watched the competition of HM King Mohammed VI Grand Prix, won by Belgian rider Virginie Thonon, riding her horse "High Tech Vy De Septon", at the end of the second stage in which competed 12 riders from six countries: Belgium, France, Switzerland, Qatar, Egypt and Jordan.

Following this competition, organized by the Horse Fair Association, under the aegis of the International Equestrian Federation and the Moroccan Royal Federation for Equestrian Sports (FRMSE), HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan handed the winner the prize.

HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan also handed the prizes to four subsequent riders: Pius Schwizer from switzerland riding Balou Rubin R, Mohamed Bassem from Qatar riding Argelith Squid, Simon Delestre from France riding Gain Line and Severin Hillereau, also from France, riding Radja D’Artemis.  

HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan posed afterwards for a souvenir photo with the five top riders.

At his departure, His Royal Highness reviewed a detachment of the royal guard that paid the honours.

The 10th edition of the El Jadida Horse Fair was held under the patronage of HM King Mohammed VI on Oct. 17-22, under the theme "Horse Fair: 10 Years of Pride and Passion".
