HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan Opening Ceremony of 9th Horse Fair

HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan chaired on Monday the opening ceremony of the 9th Horse Fair in El Jadida, which runs until October 16 under the High Patronage of HM King Mohammed VI.

Upon his arrival to the Mohammed VI exhibition park, HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan was greeted by Moulay Abdallah Alaoui, President of the Moroccan Royal Federation of Equestrian Sports (FRMSE).
 
HRH Crown Prince reviewed a detachment of the Royal Guard who made the honors, before being greeted by Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, Aziz Akhannouch, and Minister Delegate to the Minister of the Interior, Charki Drais.
 
HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan was also greeted by chairman of the council of the Casablanca-Settat region, the governor of the province of El Jadida, the president of the provincial council, the president of the urban Commune of El Jadida, members of the board of directors of the Horse Fair Association, representatives of the Fair's sponsors and executives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries.
 
Subsequently, HRH Crown Prince was greeted by HRH Abdelaziz Ben Ahmed Ben Abdelaziz Al Saoud, President of the Arabian Horse Organization, Sheikh Hamad Bin Ali Al Thani, Chairman of the board of directors of the equestrian club "Achakab" in Qatar, Issa Ben Mohammed Al Mohannadi, Chairman of Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club, and Nasser Sheinda Al Kaabi, Director General of the same club.
 
Afterwards HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan made a tour through the different areas and villages of the Fair and attended shows, artistic performances and equestrian acrobatics, presented by Moroccan and foreign riders, including the Royal Armed Forces and the School of Equestrian Art in Marrakech.
 
Later on, HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan attended fantasia shows performed by several riders representing different regions of the Kingdom before posing for a souvenir photo.
 
During this event, held under the theme "traditional equestrian arts", the best Moroccan riders will compete for HM King Mohammed VI Grand Prix of Tbourida in its first edition.
