HRH Prince Moulay Rachid, New President of Moroccan Royal Golf Federation
HRH Prince Moulay Rachid was appointed as the new President of Morocco’s Royal Golf Federation (FRMG), at an ordinary General Assembly held Monday at Royal Golf Dar Essalam in Rabat.
The candidacy of HRH Prince Moulay Rachid was endorsed by acclamation by the participants in the Federation’s general assembly.
On this occasion, the Federation deputy president, Mustapha Zine, said that “today marks a historic moment following the appointment of HRH Prince Moulay Rachid who will contribute to the development of Golf in Morocco.”
"HRH Prince Moulay Rachid has been chairing the Hassan II Golf Trophy Association (ATH) for more than 15 years and has contributed since 2002 to the development of professional golf at the national level and the promotion of Morocco as a golf destination,” he added.
"As an experienced golfer, His Royal Highness has competed in many prestigious international competitions," said Zine, who is also the ATH deputy vice-president.
