HRH Prince Moulay Rachid Represents HM king Mohammed VI in World Humanitarian Summit


HRH Prince Moulay Rachid arrived, here Sunday, to represent HM King Mohammed VI in the first World Humanitarian Summit, which will be held on May 23-24 in Istanbul.

   Upon his arrival at the Istanbul Ataturk Airport, HRH Prince Moulay Rachid was greeted by Morocco's Ambassador to Turkey, Mohamed Lotfi Aouad, Morocco’s Ambassador, Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York, Omar Hilale, and Director of global affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and cooperation, Mohamed Amin Belhaj.
 
   He was also greeted by Major General Recep Yuksel and several other civilian and military figures.
 
   The World Humanitarian Summit will mark a turning point in how the international community prepares and faces crises, conflicts, natural disasters and population movements to prevent human suffering. It will also provide an essential platform to take up the challenges facing the humanitarian system.
