HM the King has named this year's Group of Graduates after the late "M'hammed Boucetta".

After saluting the national flag as the national anthem was playing, the Sovereign delivered the following address:

"Praise be to God,

May peace and blessings be upon the Prophet, His Kith and Kin

Honorable Officers,

I should like to take the opportunity of this oath-taking ceremony, before your King, to express my great esteem for the Royal Armed Forces for their discipline, their commitment and the tremendous sacrifices they make as they discharge their military, social and humanitarian duties, in Morocco and abroad.

I am proud of what is being provided to you and to all components of our Royal Armed Forces in terms of modern training and continuous upgrading so that our Forces may accomplish their mission to defend the homeland’s unity and maintain security and stability.

I have decided to name this year’s Group of Graduates after the fervent patriot, M’hammed Boucetta, to honor this sagacious political figure and great statesman, who was known for his sincere commitment to serving his homeland, its causes and best interests.

I therefore expect you to live up to what this name stands for in terms of genuine national values and unwavering commitment to the sacred, immutable tenets of the nation, putting them first, before any other consideration. You will thus remain loyal to your everlasting motto: God, the Country, the King.

Wassalmu alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh."
