HM the King Congratulates French President on National Day
HM King Mohammed VI sent a message of congratulations to president of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, on the occasion of his country's National Day.
In this message, the Sovereign expresses, in his name and on behalf of the Moroccan people, his sincere congratulations and best wishes of health and happiness to Macron, and further progress and prosperity to the friendly French people.
On this occasion, HM the King stresses that "Morocco and France are linked not only by an exceptional strategic partnership, rich, dense and dynamic, but also by a solid friendship forged by a history and values that our two peoples share".
"Innovative and forward-looking, this privileged partnership also enshrines our common commitment on the international stage to peace and security in the world, to freedom, stability and prosperity in the Mediterranean area, and to global and sustainable development in Africa," adds the Sovereign in this message.
"The last high-level meeting in November 2017, which was marked by ambitious recommendations for cooperation, even denser and more diversified, as well as regular and permanent consultation meetings, reflects the particular and constantly renewed dynamic that characterizes Moroccan-French relations," notes HM the King.
In this regard, the Sovereign reiterates his firm and constant determination to pursue joint action with the French president to highlight this enormous potential for cooperation between the two countries, to deepen their strategic dialogue and to consolidate the concordance of their positions on the various regional and international issues of common interest.
