HM the King Congratulates Salaheddine Mezouar Over Election as CGEM President


HM King Mohammed VI sent a message of congratulations to Salaheddine Mezouar over his election as president of the Moroccan employers association (CGEM).

 In this message, HM the King extended to Mezouar, his fellow candidate Fayçal Mekouar and all CGEM members his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes of success in conducting their missions "to reinforce the important role to which the body aspires in order to achieve a comprehensive and sustainable development that We want for our country".

"We are sure that thanks to your great experience and knowledge in the management of public affairs, as well as your sincere attachment to the homeland and unwavering loyalism to the Nation's immutable and sacred values, you will spare no effort to fulfil your new responsibilities in the best possible way, lead the CGEM towards completing the projects of upgrading Moroccan enterprises, and boost its competitiveness and contribution to establishing the bases of a modern, balanced and productive national economy that encompasses economic efficiency and social solidarity to face present and future challenges, said the monarch in the message.

HM the King seized this occasion to laud efforts by Mezouar's predecessor as CGEM head Miriem Bensaleh Cheqroun and her invaluable contribution to raise the body to its current distinguished status on the national economic scene.

Voicing his huge esteem to all CGEM members, the sovereign urged them to continue their work and strive doubly hard to improve the performance of Moroccan businesses and turn them into a successful social and economic partner that puts the interests of the Nation and citizens above any other consideration.
