HM the King Extends Condolences to Family Members of Senegal's Tijaniya Brotherhood Caliph General
HM King Mohammed VI, Commander of the Faithful, sent a message of condolence to the family members of Caliph General of Senegal’s Tijaniya Brotherhood, Seikh Serigne Abdoul Aziz Sy Al-Amine, who passed away on Friday.
"It was with deep sadness and great emotion that we learned of the death of the late Seikh Serigne Abdoul Aziz Sy Al-Amine, Caliph General of the Tijaniya Brotherhood of the Sy family in Tivaouane, may God have him in his holy mercy," said the sovereign.
"In this sad circumstance, the message went on, We wish, on our own behalf and that of the Moroccan people, to express our heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathy to all the members of his illustrious family, to the adepts and disciples of the Tijaniya Brotherhood in sister country Senegal. We pray the Almighty to grant you patience, comfort and consolation.”
"While sharing your grief and that of the disciples of the Tijaniya Brotherhood in the face of this painful event (…), we recall the great qualities of the illustrious deceased who was a man of faith and virtue, as well as the sincere affection and consideration he had for his second country, the Kingdom of Morocco. We also bear in mind his fidelity and loyalty to our Majesty, Commander of the Faithful,” the message underlined.
