HM the King Holds Long Phone Conversation with Russian President
HM King Mohammed VI held a long phone conversation on Tuesday with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
On this occasion, the two heads of State reiterated their full satisfaction with the results of the recent visit that the Sovereign paid to Moscow, which opened a new era in relations between the two countries and strengthened the establishment of a Strategic Partnership.
HM the King and the Russian president hailed the progress made in the implementation of the various areas of the Strategic Partnership and the commitment of the officials of both countries to ensure its full implementation in its economic, cultural, political and security areas.
The monarch and the Russian President expressed their strong concern over the latest developments of the Sahara issue at the level of the United Nations Secretariat.
They also agreed to strengthen their coordination and maintain continuous contacts on this issue in order to reach, by the end of April, a balanced and productive result.
The two heads of State also praised the quality of the political dialogue between their countries and discussed, during this phone conversation, various regional and international issues, especially the situation in the Mashreq and the Maghreb.
