HM The King addresses an Order of The Day to The Royal Armed Forces on The occasion of The 63rd Anniversary of Their Creation
A ceremony was held on Tuesday at the headquarters of the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) in Rabat, on the occasion of the 63rd anniversary of the creation of FAR.
After greeting the national colors, an order of the day sent by HM King Mohammed VI, Supreme Commander and Chief of General Staff of FAR to officers, non-commissioned officers and privates, was read out.
On this occasion, several officers, non-commissioned officers and privates were decorated with royal Wissams.
The ceremony, chaired by Lieutenant General Abdelfatah Louarak, FAR Inspector General, was marked by a military parade.
The 63rd anniversary of the creation of the Royal Armed Forces was celebrated at FAR various parade squares, garrisons and units. The same ceremony was held in the southern zone and at the level of FAR contingents deployed for specific tasks.
The celebration of the anniversary of FAR creation is an opportunity to pay tribute to this valiant institution that has worked for more than 60 years to defend the territorial integrity of the Kingdom, strengthen national and international solidarity and preserve peace in the world. It is also an occasion to highlight the sacrifices, dedication and heroic actions of FAR in the defense of the Kingdom and in the service of its supreme interests.
Since its creation on the eve of independence (14 May 1956), FAR has been engaged in civic and humanitarian tasks, serving its citizens in times of crisis and also the people of the world, particularly in times of war and instability.
