HM the King Offers Condolences to Thailand's Sovereign following Bangkok Attack

HM King Mohammed VI has sent a message of condolences and compassion to Thailand's sovereign Bhumibol Adulyadej following the attack that targeted Bangkok’s central shopping district on Monday night, making several victims.

In this message, HM the King said he learnt with "deep emotion and great indignation the tragic news of the despicable criminal attack against one of the shopping areas of central Bangkok, the capital of your friendly country, making several innocent victims".

 In these painful circumstances, HM the King expresses to Thailand's sovereign and, through him, the bereaved families of the victims and the friendly people of Thailand, His heartfelt condolences and sincere feelings of compassion.

HM the King also expresses the strong condemnation of the Kingdom and its strong denunciation of all forms of heinous terrorism that affects the safety and the lives of innocent citizens.
